My Smoothie Recipe

Smoothies give me a one-two punch, combining good-for-you healthiness with the taste of a decadent treat. Here’s a daily staple that keeps me going and it’s green!

Generally, I don’t eat until 11 am or noon. I always break my fast with a green smoothie. Here’s my combination of greens, good fats, and some sweet!

Afternoon Smoothie

Two heaping handfuls of fresh spinach or 2 1/2 cups frozen spinach

  • 1 peeled banana
  • ½ avocado
  • 2 cups almond milk (any kind)
  • 3 Tbs Maple Syrup
  • Ice
  • Blend vigorously
