Better Bath Time

bath and relaxation

Now more than ever… self, self-care…retreat, retreat. By the end of the day after zooms calls, picking-up, cohabitating, fresh airing, and cooking, I just want to collapse, but I know better than to couch potato it up.  It’s important to feed the soul and cherish the body. Unwinding is good, brings the heart rate down, lets me focus on something other than our current state, and the to-do list. So now that I’m entrenched at home, how do I elevate a bath?

I came up with a great solution for a super smelling restorative soak with little mess. And I did it with Amazon. I buy regular Epson salt to soothe tired muscles.  To create an olfactory heaven, I add a few drops of Organic Garden of Life Essential Oils in peppermint or lavender or for a boost, sweet orange.  Sometimes my skin is super dry and needs a little TLC, so I use 2 tablespoons of Now Solutions Organic scented Massage oil.  The oil and the Epsom salt make my skin baby soft.

unwinding with a long hot bathBest of all when the tub is drained, there is no colored residue, no petals, or leafy bits to clean up, and the slightest sweet scent remains in my bathroom.  Now, I am ready for the couch with a cup of herbal tea sprinkled with Calm Magnesium powder to keep the restorative vibe going while the relaxation continues!
